Disney Parks Announce Rebranding and New Purchase Options for Lightning Lane Passes
Disney recently introduced a new way to reduce wait times in their parks. Disney’s Genie+ has been replaced with Lightning Lane Multi-Pass, and Individual Lightning Lane was replaced with Lightning Lane Single Pass.
The Lightning Lane passes for Disneyland will continue to work the same as they do today, with only a name change. This product will remain available through AAA Tickets, allowing guests to enjoy expedited access to their favorite attractions just as they have been.
For Walt Disney World, the changes bring some new conveniences. The Lightning Lane Single Pass will now allow guests to purchase and make selections in advance through the My Disney Experience app. This streamlined process is aimed at enhancing the guest experience by offering more flexibility and ease in planning their visits. However, it's important to note that Lightning Lane passes for Walt Disney World will be sold exclusively via the My Disney Experience app and will no longer be available through AAA Tickets. This shift emphasizes Disney's focus on utilizing their digital platforms to provide a more integrated and user-friendly experience for their guests.
These updates reflect Disney's ongoing efforts to enhance the guest experience, leveraging technology to offer more personalized and efficient services. Whether visiting Disneyland or Walt Disney World, guests can expect the same great benefits from the Lightning Lane passes, now under their new branding.
